The newly designed mini park at the Joslyn Adult Center is consider an oasis and for good reason. It’s a tranquil green space that invites guests to sit, linger, and for some seniors today — to workout with the slow flowing mediation motions of tai chi.

The mini park, completed last May, is a collaboration between Leadership Burbank class of 2014 and the Burbank Park, Recreation and Community Services Department. Around$77,000 in donations and a $15,000 grant from Burbank Water and Power paid for the project. Definitely, money well spent.
