Director Blake Edwards dies at 88
The director of such notable films as “Operation Petticoat” (1959), “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” (1961), “The Pink Panther” films (1963, 1964, 1975, 1978), and “10” (1979), has died. The Los Angeles Times is reporting today that Blake Edwards passed away yesterday in Santa Monica, with his wife, actress Julie Andrews, and close family at his bedside. Screen Actors Guild Awards nominees
The nominees for the 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were announced in West Hollywood today. The awards ceremony will be at the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center next month, on January 30.
