Someone in the Southland today is rolling in some serious money. That person bought a SuperLotto Plus ticket for last night’s draw, and it hit the jackpot! The hot ticket is worth $50 million, according to the California Lottery.
The ticket was purchased in Los Angeles County in the City of Westlake Village. The lucky retailer is Village Spirit Shoppe at 4601 Lakeview Canyon Road. Two other SoCal SuperLotto Plus tickets had all the important numbers except the Mega. Each ticket is worth $20,938. One of those tickets was sold in the small community of Nipton in San Bernardino County, and the other was bought in Chula Vista, down in San Diego County.
Here are the winning digits: 3, 13, 27, 32, 39, and the Mega Ball 4.
The cost to play the California game of SuperLotto Plus is still only a dollar. Winners have 180 days to claim their prize. The California Lottery says, “Ninety-five cents of every player dollar goes back to the community through contributions to public schools and colleges, prizes and retail compensation.”
The jackpot now drops down to $7 million, the starting point for this game. The next draw is Wednesday, October 15.
