“Prince of Bel-Air” actor James Avery died last month, on New Year’s Eve. Avery reportedly passed away in a nearby Glendale hospital, following open heart surgery. He was only 68.
Avery appeared in a number of movies and TV shows, but is best known for playing the stern, but loving Uncle Phil to Will Smith’s leading role character in the sitcom”The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.”
