A fundraiser tonight for one of Burbank’s most popular events — Burbank on Parade. The parade is filled with marching bands, floats, vintage cars and much, much more. It’s the spirit of Burbank on display and “…  showcases the people and groups in town”, according to a news release.

The dinner fundraiser will be at the Tallyrand Restaurant 1700 West Olive Avenue in Burbank, from 5 to 9 p.m. January 15. The news release says, “A portion of the proceeds on the purchase of either dine-in or take-out meals will be donated to the parade, an annual community event organized by an all-volunteer committee. Present the parade flier at time of purchase or tell the cashier you are there supporting the parade fundraiser so the committee receives credit. Members (Burbank on Parade Committee) will have extra fliers at the event.”

Burbank on Parade 2013 will be Saturday, April 6 at 11 a.m. along Olive Avenue from Keystone to Lomita Streets. The theme: “Let’s Go to the Movies.” For more information go here .
