Still holding onto your 2015 Burbank General Municipal Election ballot? It’s time to make a decision and let it go. There’s less than a week to the Tuesday, April 14 election. On that day, all the mail only ballots must be returned by 7 p.m. to be counted. If you plan to make your ballot choices and get the return envelope in the mail today or tomorrow, that will probably be okay. Any later than that, you should return it to one of the designated drop-off centers or the Burbank City Clerk’s Office. See the list of drop-off center locations and hours here.
The City Clerk’s Office reportedly mailed out 61, 509 ballot packets to Burbank voters. So far ” approximately 7100 ballots” have been returned as of yesterday. City Clerk, Zizette Mullins, told Media City Groove the only problems they’re having with the ballots are “the normal issues with signature verification.” Come on Burbank voters, help speed the process. Sign your names so that strangers can read them.
