Lottery/Powerball—

No one hit the Powerball jackpot last night, but one lucky SoCal player is now more than half a million dollars richer. That player bought a ticket with five of the winning numbers, missing only the Powerball. It was still two dollars well spent because the ticket is worth $559,925, according to the California Lottery.
The hot ticket was sold in San Diego at a Chevron gas station, 3359 University Avenue. Here are the big money digits from the June 6 draw: 16, 32, 55, 59, 64, and the Powerball 3. Since no ticket had all six numbers, the $212 million jackpot rolled over to at least $225 million. The next Powerball draw is tomorrow. Monday, June 8.
