Actor Jason Priestley has come a long way from his days on “Beverly Hills 90210.” Priestley, now 44, stars as a morally corrupt used-car salesman with numerous addictions in the Canadian series, “Call Me Fitz,”appearing on DirecTV channel 101. Also, Priestley has a new book deal to write his memoir (he seems a little young to be doing that). Harper One is planning a spring 2014 release, according to Galleycat.
Back in the 90s, Priestley got his first taste of fame as the heartthrob, Brandon Walsh, on the hit TV series “Beverly Hills 90210.” In the upcoming book, Priestley reportedly will dish on some never-before-revealed details about the behind the scenes of the popular series. In a prepared statement, Priestley acknowledged his youth, but claims he has a lot to say: “Writing your memoir is no small task. And although I’ve only been on the planet for 44 years, I’ve lived a lot in that time. I hope my story will enlighten, entertain, and inspire those who read it.”
