That stunning Toluca Lake estate of Bob and Dolores Hope is still on the market and there have been some changes in the listing. At one point in 2013, the more than five acre spread was on the market for $27.5 million. Since then, the price has fluctuate, but remained in the 20-million dollar range. The asking price now is $22 million.
Also, if the entire estate and its price tag are too much to handle — the primary lot is up for sale for $12 million. The walled and gated compound includes the main residence, which is nearly 15,000 square feet, a two-bedroom guest house, staff quarters, swimming pool, golf course and putting green.
While living on the estate the Hopes hosted parties and informal gathering attended by showbiz stars like Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra.The legendary entertainer died at the age of 100 in 2003. His wife Dolores passed away at 102 in 2011.
