Lottery/Powerball—

The weekend Powerball draw was very lucky for a California ticket holder. Their ticket missed out on the $119 million jackpot by one number. However, with five of the winning numbers and only the Powerball missing, that ticket is worth $673,000, according to the California Lottery. A second ticket sold in Georgia matched the same five numbers.
Here are all of the winning numbers from the August 29 Powerball draw: 18, 56, 62, 65, 67, and the Powerball 18.
That big-money California ticket was bought in the rural community of Floriston, adjacent to the Truckee River, in Nevada County, on the California side of Lake Tahoe.
The Powerball jackpot rolls over to at least $131 million for the next draw, set for Monday, August 31.
