President Barack Obama and GOP challenger Mitt Romney are campaigning hard in the swing states today, both trying to sway as many of the undecided voters as possible. President Obama made a stop in Chicago to vote — and to encourage other Democrats to cast their ballots early. The president picked up the endorsement of well-respected retired General Colin Powell today– who also supported Obama in 2008.

The third and final presidential debate of 2012 was last Monday in Florida, but there is little change in the race still considered a tie by most polls. That final debate was on foreign policy, but the candidates frequently diverted to domestic issues such as the struggling economy and the need for more jobs. The president is considered by many political analysts to have won that debate, however, Romney held his own and, therefore, the outcome of the race still ah, up for debate. I saw little change in Obama, but felt Romney was at his best in the final debate, more natural and appeared less rehearsed in his answers.
Late yesterday, crowds gathered at the NBC Studios here in Burbank to catch a glimpse of the president arriving for an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” Here’s the video of the president’s chat with Jay Leno.
