The heat is on in Burbank today. The Southland is suffering through a spring heat wave. Temperatures in the Media City headed up into the upper 90s and even the triple digits today. Also, there’s a wind advisory for Santa Ana winds from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. today. The fire danger in the Southland remains high due to the hot windy and dry weather conditions. A red flag warning is in effect through 8 p.m. this evening.

It’s a sunscreen and get out the umbrella kind of day. Stay cool.
