clip art cloud and rain

Stormy weather creating havoc in the Southland today. During the noon hour, Burbank got hammered by a batch of heavy rain. I was about to step outside, when sheets of rain thundered from the sky. Humm, I was expecting a few clouds and drizzle, but not a full blown storm!

The bad weather is causing all sorts of problems on streets, roads, and highways in SoCal. There are reports of flooding and tons of accidents. The forecast is for as much as a quarter of an inch of rain in some places by 8 p.m. tonight. Also, we’re getting strong winds along with some cool temperatures.  So button-up and be careful out there.
