Time to move on. The big white tent, reportedly larger than a football field, for “Cavalia’s Odysseo” is coming down. I saw crews working on the take down on Tuesday, April 23. It’s kinda sad to see the tent and the spectacular show leave town. What a show it was.

I attended a sneak peak showing back in February. In a town where the flash and techno pop of the entertainment world is all around us — “Odysseo” was a refreshing experience. Performers, musicians, horses, riders,  and acrobats displayed incredible skills and grace  in an exciting production. The stages were incredible. In the finale, the main arena is turned into a small lake with 80,000 gallons of water. The creator behind Cavalia by Normand Latourelle, one of the founders of Cirque du Soleil.

After the show, some of the performers greeted visitors at the edge of the arena. A nice going home treat.
