The London Olympiad is in full swing.
Are you watching and enjoying the Olympic games?
When I see the happy, smiling faces of the athletes who have won gold medals, I think they look like the happiest people in the world.
Then, the Times in Great Britain took a survey of their readers’ opinions. One of the survey questions was “Who do you think is the happiest?”
The respondents ranked as follows:
The fourth was a doctor who had saved a patient’s life through a very difficult operation. The third was a carpenter who had just finished a work with sweat and toil. The second was a mother who was happy and satisfied after giving a baby a bath and putting the baby down for a nap. The first was a child who had just finished a sand castle at the beach.
Well, some of you may agree with them, and some may not.
But, what is certain is that happiness is not necessarily something that we can get only from the grand and glorious things or after their achievement. Happiness that we can feel and find in everyday life may look small and trivial, but it is really great and lasts long.
In other words, happiness is always close to us, not far away from us.
I believe that a truly happy and successful cleaner cannot feel happy and glad unless he removes every single stain from his customers’ clothes. I’ll continue to try my best to be a happy and successful cleaner.
