Lottery/Powerball—

That huge Powerball jackpot is getting even larger! No ticket scored all six winning numbers in last night’s draw. However, several had five of the lucky numbers. Three of those big-money tickets were bought in the Golden State, and each is worth $809,204, according to the California Lottery.
One of the big-money Powerball tickets was purchased in the Southland, at the Chevron station in Los Angeles, at 11951 West Olympic Blvd. A second in Fresno County, at the La Buena Market, 221 East Helen Ave, in Reedley. And a third up in the East Bay, at a Shell station, 6750 Santa Rita Road, in the city of Pleasanton.
Three other Powerball tickets with five of the hot numbers from the July 31 draw were bought in Virginia, Maryland, and Texas. Here are all of the winning numbers: 6, 17, 27, 48, 50, and the Powerball 5. Meanwhile, the unclaimed $707 million jackpot rolled over to $748 million for the next draw, which is tomorrow, Monday, August 3.
