Smoky skies shot from Burbank Wednesday morning 10825 mediacityg

A rare and treacherous windstorm is expected to batter the Southland for a second day. So far, at least two dead and incredible destruction. A report here.

Also, no fires are burning in Burbank at this time, however, officials are encouraging everyone in the city to stay alert and prepared.

There are currently NO evacuation orders or warnings in effect in Burbank. However, it’s always best to stay prepared. Keep emergency supplies ready, have a plan, and stay informed. Let’s stay vigilant together, Burbank! https://t.co/fBEozeGsL7
