The 2015 candidates’ forums get underway in the Burbank City Council chambers tonight. The forums are sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Glendale/Burbank. The forums will be carried live on the Burbank Channel and taped for replay later. Details here
The city council candidates’ forum kicks off the evening at 7 p.m. Two seats on the council will appear on the February 24, 2015 Burbank Primary ballot. The candidates are Incumbent Emily Gabel-Luddy, Juan Guillen, David Nos, Chris Rizzotti, Will Rogers, Sharon Springer, and Elise Stearns-Niesen.
The school board candidates’ forum will begin around 8:15 p.m. Three seats are up for election. There are six candidates. They are Armond Aghakhanian, Steve Ferguson, Incumbent Roberta Reynolds, Vahe Hovanessian, Greg Sousa, and Jesse “Tangk”Tangkhpanya.
This is a great opportunity to see the candidates and hear them speak about concerns and issues in Burbank.
