Burbank Police promotes first African American officer

A history making promotion in the Burbank Police Department. Veteran  police officer, Jamal Childs, has been upped from school resources officer to detective.  This is the first time in 100 years — that’s right — that an African American cop has been promoted in the BPD. In the past, black officers were ignored or the rules of promotion changed once they were […]

Frutos provided some […]

Photo Gallery: Schwarzenegger’s mistress revealed

The media is all over the Arnold Schwarzenegger love child story. Today photos of the other woman, retired housekeeper Mildred Patricia “Patty” Baena, popped up — many with the child she had with the former California governor and Hollywood movie star. In most photos, the face of their love child is disguised. This photo is from the People website, where there are […]

City Buzz: BPD lawsuits, investigations, and controversies

BPD cases and lawsuits Where is ex-Burbank Police Chief, Tim Stehr? Some reports say he’s planning to continue on a loooong European vacation for at least three months, perhaps more. On the other hand, a reliable source tells me Stehr is due back in the Southland next weekend. Stehr’s vacation has resulted in an expensive delay in the discrimination and retaliation case of Burbank […]
