The heat is on in the Media City. The temperature hit a sweltering 100 this afternoon. I spent some time running errands and getting the car washed early today. I did not linger. As quickly as possible, I was back inside the house with the air conditioning blasting and the fan blowing.  At 5 p.m., Burbankis is still baking in 90-degree temps.

The forecast is for at least 80s through Monday, Labor Day. However, the temperatures could creep up into the triple digits in B-City and other parts of the San Fernando Valley. So don’t think about the utility bill—be health-smart and do what you need to do to stay cool.
