What a game! Despite that lengthy blackout in the second half , the Baltimore Ravens beat the San Francisco 49ers 34-31. The Ravens had the momentum from the kick-of, but that weird power outage in the third quarter energized the 49ers — but not enough for the Niners to win it all. The early TVratings indicate the showdown in New Orleans had the biggest super bowl audiences ever, 48.1. Deadline has details on the numbers.

More on the blackout on the CBS News website. Also a lot of chatter on the Internet about the Super Bowl ads and the halftime performance by Beyoncé.
