UPDATE:  Heavy rain pounding Burbank at 1:45 p.m. Some patchy clouds, sprinkles, and brief sunshine earlier. Now it’s wet and coold outside! You need a jacket and an umbrella.

After days of threatening skies a cold storm swooped down on the Southland tonight. At 11 p.m. a steady rain is falling in Burbank where it’s 52 degrees. There’s a chance of thunderstorms and strong winds as well.

Since we could get quite bit of rain from this storm folks living in the local burn areas are being urged by officials to keep a close watch on debris flows.
