Hazmat situation at Disney Studios Burbank

Burbank Fire units and Hazmat team were spotted rushing through the Buena Vista Street entrance of the Walt Disney Studios today. It happened just before 9 a.m. this morning. ABC-7 reported the problem was acid leaking from an overheated battery on one of the sound stages. New trailer for Disney’s “Maleficent”

Disney released the third trailer for its upcoming animation, “Maleficent,”today . The movie centers on the dark side of the classic fairytale, “Sleeping Beauty.” Angelina Jolie plays the baddy named “Maleficent” and this her story of how her pure heart got turned to stone and she became the most feared creature around. “Maleficent” opens in theaters May 30, 2014.

Disney expansion project clears major hurdle

Another major studio expansion project is working its way through the political process. Disney’s Golden Oak Ranch revamp was approved by the Los Angeles Regional Planning Commission yesterday. Employee arrested in connection witih Disneyland explosion

  A Disney employee reportedly is being held on a $1 million dollars bail today in connection with that dry-ice explosion near Mickey’s Toontown attraction, in the Disneyland theme park in Anaheim late yesterday.
