Shirley Temple Black (1928 – 2014)

Shirley Temple Black, the precocious and extremely talented tap-dancing child star of the Depression years who later became a diplomat under several U.S. presidents, has died. Black reportedly passed away at her home up north in Woodside last night. Photos and more here. Nice obits; New York Times and Los Angeles Times.

Warner Bros is hooking up with bestselling author/Harry Potter creator, J.K. Rowling. on a new film series.
