Director Blake Edwards dies at 88 The director of such notable films as “Operation Petticoat” (1959), “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” (1961), “The Pink Panther” films (1963, 1964, 1975, 1978),  and “10” (1979), has died. Medal of Honor awarded to a brave soldier

A rare ceremony at the White house today. President Barack Obama presented U.S. Army Staff Sergeant, Salvatore Giunta, with the nation’s highest military award — the Medal of Honor.  Sgt.
