Southland slammed by more stormy weather

More cold temperatures, heavy rain, and snow caused havoc in the Southland today. Flooding, snow, and ice made travel on local highways and roads treacherous, forcing some closures. Director Roman Polanski wants sex charge dropped

Oscar-winning director Roman Polanski’s attorneys copped a plea in Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday. The lawyers reportedly filed a 239 page motion to have a 30-year-old sex with a minor case dismissed. On what grounds? A jury reaches a decision in the MySpace hoax trial

Today a Los Angeles jury came back with mixed verdicts in the first ever so-called cyber bullying case. Lori Drew, a Missouri mother, is accused of conspiring with her daughter and a business assistant to send harassing Internet messages to 13-year-old Megan Meier who later committed suicide.
