Burbank Primary Election time to get those ballots in

Time is running out to return those 2017 Burbank Primary Election ballots. Burbank City Clerk, Zizette Mullins, says approximately 67,000 ballots were mailed out to registered voters in Burbank. Burbank Grocery Outlet open for business

A new grocery market opened this morning in Burbank. The Grocery Outlet calls itself the bargain market. It took over the old Fresh & Easy location at 1615 West Verdugo Avenue. There are reportedly more than 260 Grocery Outlets in California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Washington. The El Torito restaurant at 3113 West Olive Avenue here in Burbank has shut down and removed all signage. A couple of talented saxmen greeted shoppers at the Pavilions supermarket, 1110 West Alameda Avenue in Burbank, with their rendition of some classic holiday songs, last Tuesday. Prompting some to drop a little extra in a nearby Salvation Army red kettle. The music drifted out into the parking lot and lingered. Sounds of the season.
