Seven happy young ladies found out today they’re going to be riding the queen’s float in the Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year’s Day 2013. The winners were selected from a field, which began at around 900 Pasadena area hopefuls about a month ago. After several weather delays, Endeavour is finally headed to the Southland. A shuttle carrier aircraft, a modified 747, took off from Kennedy Space Center in Florida with Endeavour secured to its top.
