Strong winds down tree in Burbank

The gusting Santa Ana winds claimed a victim in Burbank this morning. It’s going to be hot and windy in Burbank today. Before 9 a.m. the temperature was hovering at around 80 degrees. Hot winds were blowing debris through the streets this morning and the air very dry. Burbank on Parade 2014

Burbank on Parade 2014 rolled down Olive Avenue in the Media City today — with smiles, waves and no raindrops. A wet system apparently swept through overnight leaving behind cool temps, light winds, some clouds, but mostly sunshine. A wonderful spring day for a parade. Easter egg hunts in Burbank

A lot folks were out at the Easter egg hunts in Burbank.  The hunts were the big draw at the Spring Egg-Stravaganza this morning. The event was held in McCambridge Park 1515 North Glenoaks Boulevard. Overall, the crowds did not appear to be as large as they were at the Spring Egg-Stravaganza last year.
