Heat is on in Burbank

The sun is blazing in the Southland today, that means sizzling temperatures in the valley — especially Burbank. At 10 a.m. the thermometer shot-up to 72 degrees in the Media City.  A high of 85 is predicted. You might need to get that umbrella out again — not for rain — but for shade.  Sigh, summer is coming.

Windy conditions in the Southland

Some strong winds are whipping around the Southland today. It’s sunny, but very windy in the Media City this afternoon. I went out for a walk in the hillside area of Burbank this morning.
