Morning: A tribute to Gil Scott-Heron 1949 – 2011

A music pioneer has passed on. Poet and spoken-word musician, Gil Scott-Heron, died in a New York City hospital yesterday at the age of 62. “The Hangover 2” has record breaking Thursday at box office

“The Hangover Part II” is off to a fast start at the Memorial Day weekend Box Office. The R-rated comedy opened with a huge $31.6 million yesterday. Oprah’s 25th year finale a ratings winner

 “The Oprah Winfrey Show”  finale was huge — in true Oprah style. On Wednesday, Oprah’s talk show wrapped up 25 years with a tribute to her fans, who stuck with her year after year.
