Protesters arrested at the Walt Disney lot in Burbank

Two protesters, dressed as Minnie and Mickey Mouse, chained themselves to a gate at the Walt Disney Studios today, according to the Los Angeles Times. The costumed activists reportedly were protesting because of a fiber in Disney’s children’s books, which they say is from endangered Indonesian rain forests. ShowBiz Bits: Katie Couric leaving CBS News on May 19

CBS Evening News TV anchor, Katie Couric, has made it official. Last night at the end of the broadcast, Couric announced her final appearance in the anchor chair would be next Thursday, May 19. Final box office numbers: “Jumping the Broom” performs even better than first reported
