Several arrests in series of Burbank catalytic converter thefts

Five suspects have been arrested in connection with a series of catalytic converter thefts in Burbank. In the past few months, over 60 catalytic converters  reportedly have been stolen from vehicles in the Media City. Burbank Police investigators used leads from those thefts to “initiate surveillance of several possible suspects,” according to a news release from Sergeant, Claudio Losacco, Burbank Police public information officer. A former Burroughs High School employee is facing several sex charges allegedly involving two female students. Burbank Police arrested 23 year-old, Clarke Surrey, of Glendale last Thursday, June 4.
