“Jurassic World” stomps competition and breaks records

As predicted, Universal’s “Jurassic World” was a monster at the box office  over the weekend. The dino-pix stomped the competition and now owns the record for the biggest weekend debut in the U.S. with a haul of $208.8 million. Warner Bros. CEO admits layoffs are coming

Apparently no one’s job is safe at Warner Bros. Disney expansion project clears major hurdle

Another major studio expansion project is working its way through the political process. Disney’s Golden Oak Ranch revamp was approved by the Los Angeles Regional Planning Commission yesterday.
