In a surprise move, the Burbank City Council went outside City Hall for the selection of an interim city manager. Ken Pulskamp, the city manager of Santa Clarita, has agreed to take on that position. Big announcement in Pasadena today. The Tournament of Roses selected Vanessa Natalie Manjarrez as the 2013 Rose Queen. Manjarrez beat out more than 900 hopefuls.
