A suspect in connection with two suspicious fires in Burbank is being held on $50,000 bail today. Earlier this week, the  fires broke out in two trash dumpsters within a block of each other. Burbank Fire helps battle blaze in Glendora, also seeking new recruits

    Several  hundred firefighters are battling the Colby fire in Glendora for a second day.  Three Burbank Fire engines and 12 personnel reportedly are involved in that fire fight. Federal agency investigates suspicious fire in Burbank

Federal agents are now investigating that huge fire, which gutted the Wholesale Giant, Inc., a large tobacco and cigarette business at 4410 West Victory Boulevard, between Manning and Dymond Streets, early yesterday.
