The Burbank City Council will again be crunching budget numbers tonight during a special city council meeting. At the June 10 meeting, the council majority shocked the over-confident staff by not approving utility rate increases for electric, water, refuse, and sewer. Burbank Police arrest arson suspect

A suspect in connection with two suspicious fires in Burbank is being held on $50,000 bail today. Earlier this week, the  fires broke out in two trash dumpsters within a block of each other. Mountain lion alert for Burbank

Burbank Police have issue an alert following two “separate mountain lion sightings” in residential areas this week. The wild cat was seen in neighborhoods near the edge of the Verdugo mountains.
